Privacy policy

Designed to know less.

Effective September 27, 2026. This policy explains what Qwero processes when you use the site and its tools.

Design content

Qwero’s V1 generators run in your browser. User-entered destinations, names, custom text, uploaded logos, Wi‑Fi network names, and Wi‑Fi passwords are not intentionally sent to Qwero’s server. Current design state may be stored in local browser storage. Logo data is kept in the active browser session unless you save it in a local project file.

Wi‑Fi details

Wi‑Fi QR payloads are constructed locally. During checkout, the current design is saved in this tab’s session storage so it can be restored on return. A Wi‑Fi password remains session-only unless you explicitly choose “Remember password on this device.” Qwero does not intentionally put SSIDs or passwords in analytics, logs, payment metadata, page URLs, or third-party services. Anyone who can scan or photograph the finished sign may gain the access printed in it.

Payments

When premium checkout is enabled, Qwero sends the selected product SKU and originating generator path—not design contents—to Stripe. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms. Qwero may retain the minimum transaction identifiers needed to verify an entitlement and assist with a purchase.

Analytics

Qwero uses Google Analytics 4 to record privacy-conscious events such as generator category, template ID, output type, SKU, and purchase status. Page-view analytics excludes URL query strings so private checkout references are not sent. Analytics must not include user-entered destinations, Wi‑Fi details, names, custom text, payment links, or logos.

Advertising

Informational pages may load Google AdSense, which may process device, cookie, and advertising information under Google’s policies. Qwero excludes the advertising loader from all editors and purchase pages. Qwero does not send design inputs in its advertising or analytics events.

Local controls

Use “Clear this design” to remove the current generator’s stored browser data. Clearing site data in your browser removes other local Qwero state, including a browser-held premium entitlement. Local .qwero project files are under your control and may contain the design values—including sensitive Wi‑Fi credentials—that you chose to save.

Data sale and contact

Qwero does not sell personal data. For privacy questions, contact hello@qwero.com. This practical policy is not represented as attorney-reviewed.
